How To Effectively Convert Visitors To Subscribers

Filed under: IM Soft Xtreme Articles - 17 Apr 2008

A website without visitors will never make money. A website that fails to convert visitors to subscribers will never make serious money long term. I am sure you aware of the cost of sending visitors to a website these days, especially if you are using the Pay Per Click method.

Even if you are writing articles or doing search engine optimization, you will find that you are spending a lot of time and effort to send visitors to your site. If you are spending time and money on this effort, then I think you would agree that it is necessary to get the most out of that visitor as you possibly can. Otherwise you will end up with diminishing returns, hence crippling your motivation to continue.

To me, personally, getting traffic to a website is not a problem. The challenge lies in getting that traffic to convert. If you spend a dollar to get a visitor to your site and you make $1.20 then you can continue to send as many visitors as you want, anytime. On the other hand, if you are not making money then you have a problem.

Your goal therefore is to convert visitors into your sales process. You do this with the sole intention of getting your visitor to join your list. To do this, you set up a squeeze page. The objective of the squeeze page is to capture your visitor’s information and nothing else. Once they provide this information, you can then direct them to your sales page.

To convert visitors to subscribers, you need to do the following. Number one, you need to create a title that is brief, relevant and provocative. A good title evokes emotion in one form or another.  These emotions could include fear or doubt. Good titles also tend to ask questions and suggest that if you are not doing this or that then you could be losing out. Your title, of course, will be big and bold.

The next item on your page is the subtitle. This will further enhance the title by suggesting the solution but not giving it. Beyond the subtitle, you can then make bullet points that provide the benefits of learning more.

On the squeeze page, you can also provide an image that is relevant to the text on your page. You can also do this with video. Remember eyeballs are attracted to images, so test putting images near the call to action.

Also remember that you can put your opt in form on multiple places on your page. You most definitely want it above the fold, so that your visitor does not have to scroll down to find where to opt in.

Forum Marketing Ahead - Proceed With Caution

Filed under: IM Soft Xtreme Articles - 15 Apr 2008

As any veteran of forum marketing will tell you, marketing inside of a forum can be risky business. If you are not prepared and just barge into a forum to start posting whatever you are trying to sell, it can be marketing suicide. Forums are meant to represent “sanctuaries”. Forums are safe places where like minded people can go to make friends and share information.

Done correctly, many forum marketers will realize tremendous success from their efforts. Forum marketing can be a great way to create good streams of solid traffic and make some great business contacts, in the process.

With all of the forums that are available online, you need to focus on finding those forums that are relative to your market. After finding a few, join the forums that are the busiest. It won’t be worth your effort to join forums that do not have a lot of members unless your market caters to a very small niche market.

Forums have rules that members abide by. Study the rules of conduct for every forum that you join, then adhere to these rules. There is always a wealth of information about the forum in the first few topics that are available to look through.

The basic concept of forum marketing means to establish yourself within the community as a helpful member who has brought something of value to add to the whole community. Don’t spend your first few days campaigning as the resident “expert” within the community. Every forum already has their experts.

Becoming another expert within any busy forum will take time and careful effort. First, know your product and market better than anyone else. When you are ready to start posting informative advice in the forums, you do not want to have to second guess yourself. Because if you post flawed advice, or tips in a forum post, someone will certainly correct you on it. Then, you will look like that amateur who still has a few things to learn.

No one knows everything about a topic. When you set yourself up as someone of authority, though, you need to post information and advice that is helpful and correct. In a short time, this will help to establish you as someone in the forum that others can trust.

It is a good idea to spend your first day or two looking over the forum and finding out who the resident experts of the particular forum are. Often, you will find that a couple of these community experts are very big Internet marketers. Try not to view these forum marketing members as your competition, but as nuggets of opportunity.

What Is A Squeeze Page And Why Should You Have One?

Filed under: IM Soft Xtreme Articles - 09 Apr 2008

You may or may not have heard from the many marketers and gurus out there that the money is in the list. If you are new to internet marketing, you may be wondering what that means. Basically, professional online marketers gather information from their sites visitors, information such as names and e-mail addresses.

They do this by providing an opt in form where you can input your first name and e-mail address. They normally entice you to do so by providing free information that you will receive once you opt in. The goal is simple, build a list of subscribers as fast as you can. Once you have this list then you can sell to them time and time again. This applies whether you own your own product or promoting someone else’s.

So what is a squeeze page? A squeeze page is just another means of doing what I mentioned earlier. A squeeze page is a dedicated page for opt ins. It has no other purpose other than capturing names and e-mail addresses.

When you’re using a squeeze page, you essentially are not selling anything in the immediate sense. The objective of the squeeze page is to provide further information to the reader if they opt in to your list. It is critical that you understand this.

You should not provide anything else on that page, other than information enticing them to opt in. In other words, there should be absolutely no other links to any other page. This page has one goal and one goal only, which is to build your list. Once they opt in, you can then re-direct them to a sales page if you wish.

The next question is why should you have one? As I mentioned earlier, the money is in the list. Your primary goal online is to build a list of subscribers if you want to make a lot of money both now and in the future.

You should do this so as to build a list of targeted customers who are interested in a given product or service. Second, these days very few visitors buy anything on their first visit to a website. Third, having a list helps you to build a relationship with your visitors over time. Plus, once you have this list, you can make recommendations as frequently as you desire.

Using Project Management Software to Effectively Manage Your Projects

Filed under: IM Soft Xtreme Articles - 07 Apr 2008

Project management software is a great addition to the world of effective software applications. These software applications help project managers to keep track of each aspect of the project. There are number of great software applications out there that help with project management but the essential functions of these software applications are the same.

The first thing they do is allow you to open up a new project. This gives you a place to collect documents, notes, brainstorming ideas, and fill out all the information about the project that is necessary to have on hand and reference. This usually includes contact information for the people who issued the project as well as for the staff on the project itself.

There are also sections that include the ability to break the project down, issue deadlines and alarms that will notify you of an impending deadline at intervals. This can be a great help in reminding project managers to check up on the various departments and team members who are handling each aspect of the project in order to ensure everything is going smoothly.

Depending on the software application there may be places to put notes in under each one of the steps for the completion of the project in order to keep a running log of the projects progress. This can come in handy for project managers when having to make progress reports to higher levels of management as well as keeping track of where everything is.

One of the most important things when it comes to project management is completing a project on time and having everything come out smoothly. This is why, especially for larger projects a software application like this can be a great asset to the entire process.

There are some project management applications that can even store images of entire documents lending themselves to be complete management tools. Project management software is not the only applications that can assist in project management. Applications that allow for the sharing of documents and allow each person to make corrections and then send it back via the web also have been introduce and provide a great asset to project management.

5 Hot Forum Marketing Tips For Great Results

Filed under: IM Soft Xtreme Articles - 04 Apr 2008

Out of all of the free Internet marketing techniques that are used to promote and generate traffic, forum marketing is one of the best. Forum marketing reaches a wide variety of targeted traffic without spending a lot of money. You do need to put in the work and be dedicated to becoming a good solid member of what ever forum you might be joining.

1. Join the forum that is tied in with your product. It won’t be doing you a lot of good if your marketing product is a single’s dating service but you are joining a “Brides to be” forum.

When you are joining a forum to market from, it is to your best interests that the forum members will have some common ground with your product or service. This way, when you are posting back links to your promo site or squeeze page, the leads you receive will be targeted leads.

2. Establish yourself as a presence in the forums. Be that member that is helpful with answers and referral links to places members can go for information when they ask for help and advice.

3. Finding forum friends that you can do marketing campaigns with together. Joint ventures will help network a quicker and stronger campaign for your venture group. All you need to do is find two or three other forum members that are marketing “like” products, similar products as yours, to band together with.

Cross promoting each others products is a great way for a group to realize the advantages that networking has on exploding a market wide open. This method can be very lucrative for all involved. The key is to keep the group to no more than four marketers total.

Using Project Management Techniques to Stay Organized

Filed under: IM Soft Xtreme Articles - 03 Apr 2008

The techniques used in project management are not exclusive and can be used in any aspect of business especially if being organized is something that is highly essential to the job. Using the techniques and steps found in project management can provide the perfect grounds for time management and organization.

Staying organized when there are a lot of different aspects to a job description can be a task in and of itself taking up precious time and energy especially if being organized is not a strong point as can be found with many people.

No matter what the job or task project management can help you to accomplish it successfully. First, take a look at everything that needs to be done. Then organize it based on priority. In other words is there anything that has to be done first in order to complete something else. Take the time to put all these aspects together grouping them based on what needs to be done in order to do something else on the list and what needs to be done based on the deadlines given for completion.

Once you have everything you need to do separated by priority. Accomplish what needs to be done right away and does not require extra steps to complete first and complete anything which has to be done to complete later or larger task.

Now take what is left and reassign the priorities and deadlines. Then break each task down into its various components. What needs to be done in order to accomplish the task, what supplies are needed, is assistance from other people necessary? Once these questions are answered, everything is ready for the next step.
